GIVING AT FIRESIDE
As followers of Jesus, generosity as at the heart of who we are because we know our God is generous. We want to grow in our generosity as a church, with our giving as a part of our worship--as an act of trust and surrender, returning to God what is truly already his. Giving sacrificially creates space for us to see God at work, so we give joyfully and expectantly of what he will do.
But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
