Over the past few months, something exciting has been unfolding for Fireside regarding a possible new gathering space. Many of you have experienced God’s faithful provision alongside us—whether through Salisbury Elementary School, the Lodge in downtown Amesbury, or the various local businesses, churches, and spaces that have generously welcomed us. We’ve consistently seen God lead us in unexpected ways, often without us actively seeking change. That was the case again this April when we heard that a church building at 58 Macy Street in Amesbury was for sale. Though we weren’t looking, we felt nudged to explore further. Since then, our Executive Team and a discernment group have prayerfully and carefully considered whether God might be inviting us into this new chapter.

Throughout this journey, we’ve sensed God’s hand in every step, and a recurring theme has been the idea of establishing “Kingdom Outposts” for His glory in this region. Now, we’re inviting you—our beloved Fireside Community—to take this next step with us. This potential building wouldn’t just serve as a more permanent gathering space, but as a vital tool in our mission to invite others into Following Jesus Together. Your past generosity has carried Fireside to where it is today, and we ask you to prayerfully consider how you might join us again—through giving, praying, or spreading the word. We’re so grateful for each of you and excited to see how God will move in the days ahead.
